Women's Issues Articles & Resources

Being a woman in today's world can be a joy, a challenge, a blessing and-- sometimes-- even seem to be a curse.

Just as men tend to be saddled with expectations about what are appropriate and inappropriate ways to be a man, women are sometimes limited by constructions of what it is to be a woman.

We see examples of this as strong and assertive women are labeled pejoratively and deemed threatening while those who are soft and feminine are expected to be weak and always submissive.

There are many many ways to be a woman.

At Personal Growth Planet, we celebrate and support the multitude of ways you can express yourself as a woman.

The articles you'll find here share suggestions and advice geared toward women that include health issues, social roles, spirituality and other topics.
